From InterTabac: Why Flexibility Is Becoming More Important

Our conversations at InterTabac 2026 highlighted another important challenge for manufacturers:

Production flexibility.

As brands introduce different pouch sizes, flavors, strengths, packaging formats, and product variations, manufacturing systems need to adapt without creating unnecessary downtime or complicated changeovers.

For equipment manufacturers, this creates an engineering challenge:

How do you combine speed, accuracy, repeatability, and flexibility in one production system?

These are the kinds of real-world requirements that drive our discussions between engineering, R&D, and customers.
